Although a Barbarian is capable of calculated blows and tactical fighting techniques, it is his fierce passion for battle that distinguishes him in battle. While using this skill, a Barbarian drives more and more force into each successive blow as his anger and bloodlust mounts.
Two weapons attack one target each if more than one are within range, or a single target within range once each per attack sequence. If target(s) are not selected, target(s) within range will be automatically selected and attacked.
Mana cost is applied once for each weapon attack in the sequence, so displayed mana cost is double: can be used with 1.5 mana even though it will cost 3 mana.
Attack Speed Calculator only calculates attack rate breakpoints accurately when first attack in sequence is unsuccessful, or when both weapons have the same weapon speed and Increased Attack Speed; this script (download) does so when it's successful (this results in the remainder of the sequence being calculated using the secondary weapon's IAS, and weapon speed is recalculated). [1]
First successful attack results in frenzy, applying + attack rate and +% movement speed until duration expires. Each subsequent successful attack with either weapon resets duration and applies + attack rate and +% movement speed for next level, so it takes 20 successful attacks to apply level 20 + attack rate and +% movement speed.
Frenzy overlay
Switching to another attack while in frenzy will result in + attack rate and +% movement speed being applied to that attack until duration expires.
While the synergy bonus displayed is Berserk: +% Magic Damage per Level, suggesting 20 points would result in 20% magic damage being added to physical damage, 20% of physical damage would actually be converted to magic damage, resulting in 80% physical and 20% magic damage.
