After years of disciplined physical conditioning, an Assassin can develop the ability to move faster than the eye can follow in one quick burst. Using this skill, she lunges at her target and delivers a devastating kick.
If target is not within range, kick animation is displayed but Assassin neither teleports to nor attacks target. [1]
Target does not need to be selected: will still teleport to and attack unit within 5 1/3 yard radius of cursor (if multiple targets are within radius, that closest to the cursor is targeted). [2]
Although Ghoul Lord is within radius of cursor, it is not within range of the Assassin so animation displays but there is no teleport or damage (or delay). While there is another Ghoul Lord within radius of the Assassin, it is not selected and it is not within radius of the cursor.
Transports Assassin and dependent mercenary and pets to target within line of sight. Converts and Returned do not teleport with Assassin.
Useful for repositioning Assassin and dependants, or escaping.
Applies weapon + Attack Rating of any kind, but this is not displayed by character screen.[3]
Animation length is unaffected by movement speed, attack rate or cast rate modifiers of any kind: it always lasts 23 frames, teleporting in the tenth frame and attacking in the fifteenth. [5] However, due to its delay, when attacking continuously the interval between attacks is 34 frames (1.36 seconds). [6]
Consumes only 1 of each Martial Arts charge when cast (D2R only).
Always hits if the Assassin has any Martial Arts charges (D2R only).
