By developing this skill, a Necromancer can permeate his summoned minions with a protective energy that strengthens their protection to the natural and mystical elements alike.
Resist +% is set at the time of summoning: increasing or decreasing skill level after summoning has no effect. [1]

A Clay Golem 's Cold Resist +50% and CR +50% from level 6 Summon Resist result in it becoming Immune to Cold, neither taking damage nor being chilled by Bone Mage ice bolts even though this immunity is not displayed. However, a Spirit Wolf summoned using a Crescent Moonrune word's level 18 Summon Spirit Wolfcharges is killed because Summon Resist does not add to its CR +85%.
