It appears to be exclusive of the [http://www.thottbot.com/?q=4486 Seed of Life] quest which you can get inside the Maraudon instance, i.e. you cannot do this quest if you are doing the other and vice versa. It requires you to dispatch the Khans that appear inside the instance, and gives as reward this nice trinket, [http://www.thottbot.com/?i=19462 Mark of the Chosen] which has a 2% chance to buff all your stats by 25 for one minute when you are struck in combat.

The orange and purple sides each have two khans: one in the pre-instance part and another inside the actual instance on that side. One more khan stands outside the portal room for the shortcut to the second (Princess) part of maraudon.
