*Reduces [[Cold Resist]] of targets when [[Sorceress]] applies [[Cold Damage]] and cold or [[freeze length]] to them. Does not apply to [[Immune to Cold]] targets, or to cold damage and cold or freeze length applied by allied players, [[mercenary|mercenaries]] or [[pet]]s.
* Applies to [[Cold Immunity Sundered|sundered]] enemies at 1/5 effectiveness (D2R only).
*CR % reduces both cold damage and cold length or freeze length: reducing a target to the Resist -100% floor doubles cold damage and cold or freeze length.
*Level >17 (-100% ECR) is potentially redundant against monsters, while level >37 (-200% ECR) is always redundant against non-sundered monsters. However, higher levels may still be useful against players and mercenaries applying excess CR %: a player applying CR 350% in Hell (CR -100%) would still have CR 50% after level 37 CM was applied, halving cold damage and cold length. Higher levels are still useful against sundered enemies because of the 1/5 penalty.
